Captain Gerard Marmaduke Brooke, R.N., Retired (21 December, 1850 – 15 March, 1905) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Brooke was ranked thirty-fourth in order of merit of thirty-six candidates accepted as first-class Naval Cadets following the entrance examinations of December, 1864.[1]

Brooke was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 15 April, 1875.

Brooke was promoted to the rank of Commander on 21 June, 1887.

Brooke was placed on the Retired List on account of age with the rank of Captain on 21 December, 1900.
