Commander (retired) George Sarsfield Walsh, R.N. (13 October, 1888 – late 1942) was an officer in the Royal Navy. His page bears a "(b)", as his father had the same name.

Life & Career

Walsh was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant in 1910.

Walsh was appointed in command of the submarine A 9 on 20 February, 1914.[1]

Walsh retired as a Lieutenant-Commander in 1920 and was promoted to the rank of Commander on the Retired List in 1928.

He died at Durban while serving in World War II.
