Captain (retired) George Huntingford, R.N. (20 January, 1850 – 17 February, 1901) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Huntington was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 15 June, 1874.

Huntington was promoted to the rank of Commander on 30 June, 1888.

Appointed Superintendent of Greenwich Hospital School from 1 August, 1897 until he was placed on the Retired List at his own request with the rank of Captain on 14 July, 1899. He died a year and half later.
