Captain George Bridges Lewis (20 June, 1882 – 22 May, 1941) was an officer in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Lewis was appointed in command of the depot ship Alecto on 1 March, 1914, and for duty with submarines.[1]

Lewis was appointed in command of the destroyer Inconstant on 22 October, 1919.[2]

Post-War

World War II

Lewis was superseded in command of the armed merchant cruiser Carnarvon Castle by Martin John Coucher de Meric on 19 May, 1940.
