Squadron Leader Frederick Joseph Rutland, D.S.C, A.M., (21 October, 1886 – 28 January, 1949) served in the Royal Navy. His flying exploits at the Battle of Jutland would earn him the sobriquet, "Rutland of Jutland".

Life & Career

Rutland was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 7 January, 1916.

He committed suicide in 1949.
