Rear-Admiral Francis Hugh Walter Goolden, R.N. (22 August, 1885 – 13 June, 1950) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Born in Snadown on the Isle of Wight.

Goolden was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 1 April, 1907.

Goolden was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 1 April, 1915.

Post-War

Goolden was promoted to the rank of Commander on 31 December, 1918.

Goolden was promoted to the rank of Acting Captain on 22 May, 1926.

Goolden was promoted to the rank of Captain on 30 June, 1926.

Goolden was promoted to the rank of Rear-Admiral on 29 May, 1937 and placed on the Retired List the following day.
