Captain Francis Haines Marshall Jackson, R.N. (13 November, 1874 – 11 July, 1923) was an officer in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Jackson could speak some German and French and had a flair for photography.
Jackson was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 14 April, 1895.
He was appointed command of the Minerva.
Jackson was promoted to the rank of Commander on 30 June, 1905.
Jackson was promoted to the rank of Captain on 30 June, 1913.
Jackson was placed on the Retired List as medically unfit on 4 December, 1916 after being invalided with gastritis earlier in the year. He would die of cardiac failure at Torquay in 1923.
