Francis Charles Hanna
Commander (retired) Francis Charles Hanna (29 November, 1885 – 28 June, 1933) was an officer in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Born in Taunton, Somerset.
Hanna was promoted to the rank of Mate dated 14 February, 1913.[1]
Hanna served in T.B. 1 from the outbreak of the war until he was appointed to join M.30 on 30 June, 1915, having been promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 14 June, 1915.
Hanna was appointed in command of the patrol boat PC 68 on 8 July, 1917.[2]
On 13 November, 1919, Hanna was appointed in command of the patrol boat PC 56.[3]
Placed on the Retired List at his own request on 7 July, 1922.
Hanna was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander (retired) on 14 June, 1923.
Hanna was promoted to the rank of Commander (retired) on 29 November, 1925.
