Ernest Kindersley Loring was an officer of the Royal Navy.

He was appointed in command of the battleship Albion in July, 1915.^[1]

On 1 February, 1916, he was appointed in command of the battleship Prince George.^[2]

He was appointed in command of the battlecruiser Indomitable on 13 August, 1917.^[3]
