Lieutenant Ernest Downes Panter (7 November, 1890 – ) was an officer in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

It appears that Panter entered Royal Naval College, Dartmouth directly – part of the Royal Navy's transition from training new cadets in H.M.S. Britannia as the new scheme was being primed.[1][Fact Check]

Panter was appointed in command of the first-class torpedo boat T.B. 4 on 29 July, 1914.[2]
