Temporary Lieutenant-Commander R.N.V.R. Eric Reginald Offley Carey Greenstreet, (11 March, 1902 – ) served in the Royal Navy in the 1920s and in the Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve in World War II.

As with many men born c. 1899 or later, his Service Records at The National Archives do not reflect activity between 1931 and 1939 or so.

Life & Career

Greenstreet was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant in November, 1924.[1]

While serving an appointment in the destroyer Wanderer, he was allowed to resign to avoid a Court Martial on 2 February, 1928.[2]

Greenstreet was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander R.N.V.R. on 12 September, 1939.[3]

World War II

Greenstreet would serve in the R.N.V.R..
