Captain Eric Barry Kenyon Stevens, (8 January, 1898 – ) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Stevens entered the Navy with an appointment in Queen in May of 1916.

Stevens was appointed to the Vanguard on 1 March, 1917. He was fortunate to have been lent to the destroyer Norman before she blew up just before midnight on 9 July 1917, being then one of approximately twenty-four men who escaped with their lives.[1]

Stevens was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 15 October, 1919.

Stevens was promoted to the rank of Commander on 30 June, 1933.

Stevens was promoted to the rank of Captain on 31 December, 1939.
