History

Captain William A. H. Kelly was appointed Commodore, Second Class in command of the squadron, and as Commodore Commanding the British Adriatic Force, on 25 September, 1917. On 24 March, 1919, the duties of Senior Naval Officer of the British Adriatic Force were taken over by the Rear-Admiral Commanding, Third Light Cruiser Squadron. Commodore Kelly struck his broad pendant on 14 April, 1919.[1]
