Captain (retired) Edward William Herford Blake (11 September, 1889 – ) was an officer in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Promoted to Lieutenant on 15 January, 1910.[1]

Blake served as Gunnery Officer of Theseus, Challenger and of Lion on the staff of Admiral Pakenham.

On 15 January, 1918, he was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander.[2] Four days later, he was appointed as Gunnery Officer in New Zealand.[3]
