Edward Henry Bayly

Captain Edward Henry Bayly, C.B. (1 December, 1849 – 2 August, 1904) was an officer in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Bayly was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 23 September, 1873.
He was promoted to the rank of Commander on 21 June, 1887.
Bayly was promoted to the rank of Captain on 1 January, 1894.
Bayly was appointed in command of the Pelorus on 30 March, 1897.[1]
On 20 August, 1902, Bayly was appointed in charge of the Medway Dockyard Reserve.
Retired at his own request on 4 February, 1904.
