Commander Edgar Dudley Webb, (25 March, 1906 – ) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
He was awarded the Robert Roxburgh Memorial Prize for being the Naval Cadet who obtained the highest place in the grand aggregate of marks in the Passing Out Examination at the Royal Naval College, Dartmouth.
He qualified as an interpreter in French, class A 1.
Webb was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 15 December, 1935.[1] Appointed to Caledon on 25 March, 1939.[2]
Webb was promoted to the rank of Commander on 31 December, 1941.[3]
