Commander Dashwood Goldie Tandy, (14 March, 1840 – 3 October, 1883) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Most unusually, it appears that Tandy was made a Midshipman after serving as a Naval Cadet, but then was subsequently made a Naval Cadet on 29 November, 1857.[1]

Tandy was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 20 June, 1860.[2]

Tandy was promoted to the rank of Commander on 29 December, 1871.[3]

He died while serving an appointment with the Coast Guard.
