Colin Cantlie

Colin Cantlie, D.S.C., ( – ) was an officer in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Cantlie was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 15 March, 1909.[1]
Cantlie was appointed in command of the submarine C 26 on 5 March, 1913.[2]
Cantlie was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 15 March, 1917.[3]
He was in command of the submarine E 29 on 6 May, 1918 when she hit U 54 with a dud torpedo.[4]
He was appointed in command of the submarine L 2 in December, 1920.[5]
Cantlie was appointed in command of the battleship Royal Oak in August, 1938.[6]
