Colin Cantlie, D.S.C., ( – ) was an officer in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Cantlie was appointed in command of the submarine C 26 on 5 March, 1913.[1]
Cantlie was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 15 March, 1917.[2]
He was in command of the submarine E 29 on 6 May, 1918 when she hit U 54 with a dud torpedo.[3]
He was appointed in command of the submarine L 2 in December, 1920.[4]
Cantlie was appointed in command of the battleship Royal Oak in August, 1938.[5]
