Captain (retired) Claude William Manners Plenderleath (7 December, 1863 – ) served in the Royal Navy.

Plenderleath was promoted to the rank of Commander on
Appointed to the armoured cruiser Narcissus on 17 July, 1901. It is not clear if he was in command. He was appointed in command of the sloop Mutine on 28 November, and after completing steam trials in the North Sea on 7 December,[1] left Sheerness on 11 December 1901 to relieve Redpole on the China Station.[2]
