Captain Claude George Reginald Brandon, R.N., Retired (4 June, 1874 – ) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Brandon was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 31 December, 1895.

Brandon served as navigator in Diadem in the Annual Manoeuvres of 1903 until 29 February, 1904, and took photos of Japanese warships Template:JP-Mikasa and {JP-Asahi}} with visible battle damage after they'd participated in the Battle of the Yellow Sea. He navigated for Andromeda on the China Station from 1 March 1904 until being appointed to Sutlej as first and navigating officer on 6 March, 1905.

After Sutlej paid off on 14 May 1906, Brandon was sent to Royal Oak as navigator from 17 July 1905.

Brandon served next as navigating officer in Victorious from New Year's Day 1907, being promoted to the rank of Commander on 30 June, 1907.

He was appointed to H.M.S. Queen as navigating officer from 15 December, 1908 and then to the [TO BE CONTINUED - TONE]

Victorious

Brandon was placed on the Retired List at his own request with the rank of Captain on 1 September, 1910.

Brandon offered his services in 1938, but there is no indication he re-entered the Navy.
