Commander (retired) Charles William Ernest Whish, R.N. (23 October, 1881 – ) was an officer in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Born in Kensington.

Whish was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 15 January, 1903.

Whish was appointed in command of the destroyer Havock on 18 February, 1908.[1]

Whish was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 15 January, 1911.

Whish was promoted to the rank of Commander (retired) in recognition of wartime service, dated 11 November, 1918.
