Admiral THE RIGHT HONOURABLE Lord Charles Montagu Douglas Scott, G.C.B., Royal Navy (20 October, 1839 – 21 August, 1911) was an officer of the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

In accordance with the provisions of the Order in Council of 5 February, 1872, Scott was promoted to the rank of Captain with seniority of 6 February, 1872.[1]

Scott was appointed a Naval Aide-de-Camp to Queen Victoria dated 22 June, 1886, vice Nicholson.[2]

On the occasion of the Queen's birthday he was appointed an Ordinary Member of the Second Class, or Knight Commander, in the Civil Division of the Order of the Bath (K.C.B.) on 21 May, 1898.[3]

In accordance with the provisions of the Order in Council of 22 February, 1870 Scott was placed on the Retired List on 20 October, 1904.[4]
