Captain (retired) Lord Charles Joseph Thaddeus Dormer, Fourteenth Baron Dormer, C.B.E. (24 February, 1864 – 4 May, 1922) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Dormer was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 21 June, 1887.

Dormer was promoted to the rank of Commander on 30 June, 1899.

Dormer was placed on the Retired List at his own request on 5 November, 1908.

Dormer was promoted to the rank of Captain on the Retired List on 30 June, 1914. During the war, he served with the Transportation Service in Southampton.

He died "suddenly" at Grove Park after the war.
