Charles Henry Bayly

Captain Charles Henry Bayly, R.N. (26 April, 1853 – 20 May, 1927) was an officer in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Bayly was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 28 December, 1877.

He was promoted to the rank of Commander on 39 June, 1891.

He was appointed in command of the second class protected cruiser Vindictive on 11 July, 1899.

Bayly was promoted to the rank of Captain on 22 June, 1897.

Retired at his own request on 26 April, 1903.
