Sub-Lieutenant Charles Burston Rosenthal, (5 February, 1899 – ) served in the Royal Navy and the Royal Australian Navy.

Life & Career

Rosenthal was appointed to the Vanguard on 14 February, 1917. He was fortunate to have been lent to the destroyer Partridge before Vanguard blew up just before midnight on 9 July 1917, being then one of approximately twenty-four men who escaped with their lives.[1]

He may have been appointed to P35 from August, 1917 until some time later that year.

Rosenthal was promoted to the rank of Sub-Lieutenant on 15 January, 1918.

He transferred to the Royal Australian Navy on 26 March, 1918.
