Lieutenant Charles Brownlow Macdonald, (15 November, 1855 – 9 January, 1887) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Macdonald was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 5 December, 1879.

Macdonald was appointed to the gunvessel Ranger on the East Indies Station on 7 April, 1885. While appointed to her, Macdonald was killed as he led an attack on a Burmese dacoit stronghold at Shagurai on 9 January, 1887.[1]
