Vice-Admiral Charles Blois Miller (15 July, 1880 – ) was an officer in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

He was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant dated 1 October, 1890.[1]

He was promoted to the rank of Commander on 30 June, 1903.[2]

He was promoted to the rank of Captain on 31 December, 1908.[3]

He was appointed captain of H.M.S. Jupiter in September 1911.[4]

On 9 January, 1912, he was appointed in command of the light cruiser Liverpool.[5]

He was appointed in command of the light cruiser Nottingham on 9 July, 1913,[6] and was still in command when she was lost on 19 August, 1916.[7]

Miller was appointed in command of the battlecruiser Glorious, and commanded her through the end of the war.[8]
