Cecil Minet Staveley, C.M.G., ( – ) was an officer of the Royal Navy during the First World War.
Life & Career
Staveley was promoted to Captain on 31 December 1913.
He assumed command of the first class protected cruiser Endymion in January 1916, remaining with her until January 1918.[1]
He was made Captain of Valiant in April 1921.[2]
As a flag officer, he was appointed in command of the First Battle Squadron in the Mediterranean on 7 September, 1925.[3]
