It is vital to note that on this site, the characteristics common to all ships in a given class are not documented on the pages for the ships, but on the page for the ship class the vessel belongs to. You can click on the name of the class of the ship in the footer box.

Also at the base of the page you will find categories the ship belongs to, or which are relevant for understanding the ship's history, such as "Captains of (Ship Name Here)". Editors should attend to making sure that pages for such personalities are updated to record their affiliations and service.
