Captain (retired) Arthur Parkinson James (17 March, 1864 – 9 April, 1951) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

James was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant in 1887.

James was promoted to the rank of Commander on 31 December, 1899.

James was placed on the Retired List at his own request with the rank of Captain on 6 August, 1904.

James died of bronchial pneumonia.
