Andrew Francis Gordon Tracy

Commander (emergency) Andrew Francis Gordon Tracy, R.N. (5 July, 1885 – ) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Born in Hove, Sussex the son of Reverend F. W. Tracy.
Tracy was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 30 June, 1907.
Resigned 30 June, 1911 and transferred to the Emergency List. He took classes in minesweeping in 1914 and on 27 July appointed to Columbine for the same work, based in the Firth of Forth.
Tracy was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 30 June, 1915. On 21 July, 1915 he was appointed to work at Osborne College,
Tracy reverted to the emergency list on 23 February, 1919 and was promoted to the rank of Commander (emergency list) in recognition of wartime service, dated 11 November, 1918.
