Admiral THE HONOURABLE Algernon Douglas Edward Harry Boyle, K.C.B., C.M.G., M.V.O., Royal Navy (21 October 1871 – 13 October 1949) was an officer of the Royal Navy.

Life & Career
He was promoted to the rank of Captain on 31 December, 1907.[1]
He was appointed in command of Cumberland at some point.[Citation needed] When?
He was appointed in command of Hibernia on 12 June, 1908.[2]
He was appointed in command of Edgar on 12 January, 1910.[3]
The Great War
He was appointed command of Malaya on 28 November, 1915,[4] and commissioned the new vessel on 1 January, 1916.
Jutland
At the Battle of Jutland, Boyle commanded the super-dreadnought Malaya as part of the Fifth Battle Squadron.
