Rear-Admiral Alfred Astley Ellison C.B., Royal Navy, Retired (7 December, 1874 – 25 December, 1932) was an officer in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Ellison was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 39 June, 1896.[1]
Ellison was promoted to the rank of Commander on 1 January, 1907.[2]
Ellison was promoted to the rank of Captain on 30 June, 1914.[3]
Ellison was appointed in command of the battleship Commonwealth on 30 September, 1920.[4]
Ellison was placed on the Retired List at his own request on 11 November, 1922 and advanced to the rank of Rear-Admiral on the Retired List on 26 September, 1924.[5]
