Commander Alban Knubley, R.N., Retired (17 May, 1891 – ) was an officer in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

The son of Reverend Edward P. Knubley.

Knubley was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 30 January, 1914.

Knubley was appointed in command of the destroyer Lennox on 26 January, 1918.[1]

Post-War

On 25 March, 1919, he was appointed in command of the destroyer Redgauntlet.[2]

Knubley was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 30 January, 1922.

Knubley was promoted to the rank of Commander on 27 September, 1934.
