Adolphus Augustus Frederic Fitz-George

Rear-Admiral (retired) SIR Adolphus Augustus Frederic Fitz-George, C.V.O. ( – 17 December, 1922) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Fitz-George was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 12 August, 1866.[1]
Fitz-George was promoted to the rank of Commander on 30 November, 1872. He grounded Rapid on 24 March, 1876 through a "want of care in approaching the land too close & not having properly used the lead."[2]
Fitz-George was promoted to the rank of Captain on 14 October, 1881.[3]
Retired owing to non-service on 1 January, 1894, Fitz-George was promoted to the rank of Rear-Admiral on 20 October, 1896.[4]
