The Additional Civil Lord was a Member of the Board of Admiralty from 1912 to 1919.
History
The office was established by Order in Council of 17 January, 1912, with the qualifications that the office holder "shall possess special business and administrative qualifications" and "not be a member of either House of Parliament."
