Brien Michael Money ( – ) was an officer of the Royal Navy during the First World War.
Life & Career
As a Commander, Money was appointed in command of the destroyer Acheron on 31 March, 1914.[1]
Money was promoted to the rank of Captain on 31 December 1917.
Money was a Captain in charge of the Eleventh Destroyer Flotilla in 1918 when the German High Sea Fleet surrendered in November 1918.[Citation needed]
He would remain in the Navy after the war and was appointed Captain of the light cruiser Concord in June 1921.[2]
In May 1924, Money was appointed as Director of Torpedoes and Mining (Royal Navy).[3] Money would serve in the role until he was appointed as commander of Eagle, between 1 October 1926 and 1 June 1928.[4]
