H.M.S. Endymion was one of nine Edgar class protected cruisers completed between 1893 and 1896.

Service

Re-commissioned with reduced nucleus crew at Portsmouth on 26 June, 1912.[8]

In mid-1913, she was flag ship at Queenstown.[9]
