Life & Career
Hewitt served in submarines in the 1920s, including in H 32 in 1927-8.[1]
Hewitt was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant R.N.R. on 12 June, 1928.[2]
Hewitt was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander R.N.R. on 12 June, 1936.[3]
World War II
Hewitt was promoted to the rank of Commander R.N.R. on 31 December, 1941.[4]
Hewitt was promoted to the rank of Captain R.N.R. on 30 June, 1947.[5]
