Admiral James George Mead, Royal Navy, Retired (4 March, 1834 – 18 March, 1913) was an officer of the Royal Navy.
Early Life & Career
Mead was promoted to the rank of Commander on 16 December, 1865.[1]
He was promoted to the rank of Captain on 29 November, 1872.[2]
In accordance with the provisions of the Order in Council of 22 February, 1870, Mead was placed on the Retired List on 4 March, 1894.[3] He was advanced to the rank of Vice-Admiral on the Retired List on 9 December.[4] He was advanced to the rank of Admiral on the Retired List on 21 March, 1900.[5]
