Lieutenant-Commander Anthony Horace Goatley, R.N., Retired (1 July, 1867 – 30 November, 1946) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Goatley was promoted to the rank of Boatswain on 2 September, 1891.
Goatley was appointed in command of Vernon's tender General Elliott from 7 September 1906 to 17 August, 1907.
Goatley was promoted to the rank of Chief Boatswain on 1 April, 1912.
Goatley was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 1 May, 1916.
Post-War
Goatley was placed on the Retired List on account of age on 1 July, 1922 and was subsequently promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander (retired) on 1 May, 1924.
