Admiral SIR James Whitley Deans Dundas, G.C.B. (4 December, 1785 – 3 October, 1862) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Dundas was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 25 May, 1805.

Dundas was promoted to the rank of Captain on 13 October, 1807.

Dundas was promoted to the rank of Rear-Admiral on 23 November, 1841.

Dundas was promoted to the rank of Vice-Admiral on 17 December, 1852.

Dundas was promoted to the rank of Admiral on 8 December, 1857.
