Lieutenant R.N.R. (retired) Kenneth McKay (13 December, 1894 – ) was an officer in the Royal Naval Reserve.

Life & Career

Acting Lieutenant, R.N.R. McKay was appointed in command of the destroyer Arab on 19 September, 1917.[1]

McKay was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 13 December, 1918.[2]

He was demobilised on 24 June, 1919.

McKay was placed on the Retired List on 2 June, 1926 and promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 13 December, 1926.[3]

In 1949, he reported that he was a fruit grower in British Columbia, fit for shore service only.[4]
