Edward Gerard Le Geyt

Commander Edward Gerard Le Geyt, D.S.C. (5 May, 1904 – 14 March, 1993) served in the Royal Navy.

As with many men born c. 1899 or later, his Service Records at The National Archives do not reflect activity between 1931 and 1939 or so.

Life & Career

Le Geyt was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 15 June, 1927.[1]

Appointed to Whitehall on 1 February, 1933.[2]

Le Geyt was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 15 June, 1936.[3]

World War II

Le Geyt was promoted to the rank of Commander on 30 June, 1941.[4]

He retired on 5 May, 1954.[5]
