Cyril Herbert Bromley

Commander R.N.R. (retired) Cyril Herbert Bromley (23 September, 1884 – ) was an officer in the Royal Naval Reserve.

Life & Career

Bromley was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant R.N.R. on 1 October, 1915.[1]

Bromley was appointed in command of the destroyer Syren on 1 November, 1918. He completed this appointment on 20 January, 1919 and was demobilised the next day.[2][3]

Bromley was placed on the Retired List due to non-sea service on 10 July, 1922 and was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander R.N.R. on 1 October, 1923.[4]

World War II

Bromley served in the Royal Canadian Naval Reserve as a temporary Lt. Cdr..[5]
