Commander R.N.R. (retired) Arthur Reginald Willis Sayle, R.D. (8 August, 1897 – 1967) served in the Royal Naval Reserve.
Life & Career
Sayle was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant R.N.R. on 1 October, 1915.[1]
Served in E 39 28 September 1916 to 28 March 1918 and 26 June to 14 November, 1918. Then, in R 3.[2]
Served in G 4 from 28 February 1919 until he was demobilised on 7 February, 1920.[3]
Sayle was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander R.N.R. on 1 October, 1923.[4]
World War II
In 1948, he reported that he was living in London and working as a barrister-at-law.[5]
