Life & Career
Cook served as navigator in the armed merchant cruiser Victorian from 1915 through early 1918.
Cook was granted the acting rank of Captain R.N.R. on 1 October, 1918 and appointed in command of the armed merchant cruiser Alsatian. He took over command of the ship from Captain Keighly-Peach on 25 October, 1918.[1]
