John Andrew Agnew

Commander (retired) John Andrew Agnew, (26 September, 1903 – 3 May, 1977) served in the Royal Navy.

As with many men born c. 1899 or later, his Service Records at The National Archives do not reflect activity between 1931 and 1939 or so.

Life & Career

Agnew was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 15 February, 1927.

Agnew was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 15 February, 1935.

Agnew was placed on the Retired List on account of age at the rank of Commander on 26 September, 1948.
