Captain Alex Colin Chapman, (15 September, 1897 – ) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Fought at the Battle of Jutland in the battlecruiser Tiger.[1]

Chapman was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 15 June, 1919.[2]

Chapman was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 15 June, 1927.[3]

Chapman was promoted to the rank of Commander on 31 December, 1932.[4]

World War II

Chapman was promoted to the rank of Captain on 30 June, 1940.[5]

Placed on the Retired List on 8 July, 1949.[6]
